Brief Description of Project: New 80,000 SF facility will feature two levels of facilities designed to support a wide variety of arts educational programs. The ground floor will house a 1,000-seat auditorium with orchestra pit, a 150-seat block box theater, and a scene shop. Also on the ground floor will be studios for ceramics, drawing and glass teaching. The auditorium will feature an audio-visual system utilizing the latest educational technology available today. The second floor will feature jazz and band rehearsal rooms, a graphics design studio, a photography darkroom and classrooms.
